WP2

Living Lab Process

Focus of WP2 is the conceptualization, implementation and evaluation of the co-creative process consisting of a Living Lab coupled with an integrated planning and design process. The Living Lab in WP2 integrates researchers, city administration, local initiatives and urban design students via workshops into the co-creative planning and design process enabling joint decisions, exchange of knowledge and various feedback loops. Whereas WPs 3-7 constitute the work tasks and provide the approaches required to build up an integrated model-based design, WP2 demonstrates the required communication process.  WP2 is closely linked to WP3, providing the central communication means, forming together the integrated co-creative planning and design process, which will be documented.

The co-creative process is being followed at four different levels:

1   Consortium Workshops
Project partners/consortium

2   Local stakeholder processes
Independent processes in the respective partner cities with local stakeholders and the respective local project partner

3   International Stakeholder Workshops
Joint workshop with all project partners and the stakeholders from
Vienna and Zurich

4   Design studios
Integration of master students from architecture and planning
